1901: Ty du har skapat allt och härskar öfver allt, och intet är dig för svårt, och intet slags vishet undgår dig. Hon vänder sig icke bort från sin tron, din tron, ej heller från ditt anlete, och du vet och ser och hör allting, och intet är dig fördolt.

1882: And now the angels of thy heavens do sin, and thy wrath is over the flesh of men to the day of the great judgment.
1912: And now the angels of Thy heavens are guilty of trespass, And upon the flesh of men abideth Thy wrath until the great day of judgement.
1821: The angels of your heavens have transgressed; and on mortal flesh shall your wrath remain, until the day of the great judgment.
1826: Änglarne i dina himlar hafva begått öfverträdelse; och öfver de dödligas kött skall din vrede hvila till den stora domens dag.

1882: And now, God and Lord and great King, I petition and ask that thou wouldst establish my prayer for me, that there remain to me a posterity on earth, and that thou wouldst not annihilate all the flesh of men, and not make empty the whole earth, and there be an everlasting destruction.
