| 5. Grieve not, because your souls descend in great trouble, with groaning, lamentation, and sorrow, to the receptacle of the dead. In your lifetime your bodies have not received a recompense in proportion to your goodness, but in the period of your existence have sinners existed; in the period of execration and of punishment.

And be not sorrowful that your souls descend into Sheol, in great trouble and lamentation and sorrow, and in grief, and that your bodies have not found it in your life as your goodness deserved, but rather on a day on which ye were like the sinners, and on the day of the curse and the punishment.

And grieve not if your soul into Sheol has descended in grief, And that in your life your body fared not according to your goodness, But wait for the day of the judgement of sinners And for the day of cursing and chastisement.

Sörjen icke derföre, att edra själar med stor vedermöda, med suckan, jämmer och sorg nedstiga uti de dödas boning. I eder lifstid hafva edra kroppar icke emottagit en belöning, som svarar emot eder godhet; men under eder lefnadstid hafva syndare varit till, i förbannelsens och straffets tid.
