7. Neither shall you entreat for them, not for yourselves; But you shall weep and supplicate in silence. The words of the book which I wrote. (19)

(19) But you shall weep... I wrote. Or, "Likewise despite your tears and prayers you will receive nothing whatever contained in the writing which I have written" (Charles, p. 80).

Your petition for them will not be granted unto you, nor the one for yourselves; and while ye are weeping and praying ye cannot speak a single word from the writing which I have written."

And your petition on their behalf shall not be granted, nor yet on your own: even though you weep and pray and speak all the words contained in the writing which I have written.

Ej heller skolen J bönfalla för dem eller för eder sjelfva. Men J skolen gråta och bönfalla i tysthet. Dessa äro orden af boken, som jag skref.

Eder bön för dem varder icke uppfylld, icke heller eder bön för eder själfva. Och ehuru gråtande och bedjande, skolen I intet erhålla af det hvar om jag i min böneskrift bedt för eder.
