1. I now began to utter the third parable, concerning the saints and the elect.

 1. And I began to speak the third Parable concerning the just and concerning the chosen.

 1. And I began to speak the third Parable concerning the righteous and elect.

 1. Jag började nu att omtala den tredje liknelsen rörande de heliga och utvalda.

 1. Och jag begynte tala om den tredje synen, rörande de rättfärdiga och utvalda.
2. Blessed are you, O saints and elect, for glorious is your lot.

 2. Blessed are ye, the just and chosen, for your portion is glorious!

 2. Blessed are ye, ye righteous and elect, For glorious shall be your lot.

 2. Välsignade ären J, o J helige och utvalde, ty ärofull är eder lott.

 2. Saliga ären I, rättfärdiga och utvalda, ty härlig varder eder lott.
3. The saints shall exist in the light of the sun, and the elect in the light of everlasting life, the days of whose life shall never terminate; nor shall the days of the saints be numbered,

 3. And the just will be in the light of the sun, and the chosen in the light of everlasting life; and there will be no end to the days of their life, and the days of the holy will be without number.

 3. And the righteous shall be in the light of the sun. And the elect in the light of eternal life: The days of their life shall be unending, And the days of the holy without number.

 3. De helige skola vistas i solens ljus, och de utvalde i det evigtvarande lifvets ljus, hvilkas lifsdagar aldrig skola sluta, ej heller skola de heligas dagar blifva räknade,

 3. De rättfärdiga skolen bo i solens ljus, och de utvalda i det eviga lifvets sken. Ingen ände taga deras lefnads dagar, och de heligas dagar äro utan tal.
4. who seek for light, and obtain righteousness with the Lord of spirits. Peace be to the saints with the Lord of the world.

 4. And they will seek the light and will find justice with the Lord of the spirits; there will be peace to the just with the Lord of the world.

 4. And they shall seek the light and find righteousness with the Lord of Spirits: There shall be peace to the righteous in the name of the Eternal Lord.

 4. hvilka söka efter ljuset och erhålla rättfärdighet hos Andarnes Herre. Fred vare de heliga hos verldens Herre!

 4. Och de skola söka ljuset och finna rättvisan hos andarnas Herre. Frid skola de rättfärdiga hafva hos världens Herre.
5. Henceforward shall the saints be told to seek in heaven the secrets of righteousness, the portion of faith; for like the sun has it arisen upon the earth, while darkness has passed away.

 5. And after that it will be said to the holy, that they should seek in heaven the secrets of justice, the portion of faith [fidelity], for it has risen like the sun on the earth, and darkness has disappeared.

 5. And after this it shall be said to the holy in heaven That they should seek out the secrets of righteousness, the heritage of faith: For it has become bright as the sun upon earth, And the darkness is past.

 5. Hädanefter skall det sägas, att de heliga söka i himmelen rättfärdighetens hemligheter, trons lott; ty likasom solen har den uppgått öfver jorden, medan mörkret skingrat sig.

 5. Och därefter varder det sagdt åt de heliga, att de skola i himmelen söka rättfärdighetens hemligheter, trons arfvedel, ty det har blifvit ljust, liksom solsken, på jorden, och mörkret är förgånget.
6. There shall be light interminable; nor shall they enter upon the enumeration of time; for darkness shall be previously destroyed, and light shall increase before the Lord of spirits; before the Lord of spirits shall the light of uprightness increase for ever.

 6. And there will be an unceasing light, and in the number of days they will not enter, because darkness will be destroyed first, and the light will be mighty before the Lord of the spirits, and the light of rectitude will be strong in eternity before the Lord of the spirits.

 6. And there shall be a light that never endeth, And to a limit (lit. ’number') of days they shall not come, For the darkness shall first have been destroyed, [And the light established before the Lord of Spirits] And the light of uprightness established for ever before the Lord of Spirits.

 6. Der skall blifva ett oändeligt ljus, icke heller skola de börja att räkna tiden; ty mörkret skall förut förstöras, och ljuset skall tillvexa inför Andarnes Herre; inför Andarnes Herre skola rättfärdighetens ljus vexa i evighet.

 6. Och ljuset skall aldrig upphöra, och deras dagars tal varder oräkneligt, ty dessförinnan skall mörkret förintas, och ljuset skall vara mäktigt inför andarnas Herre, och rättfärdighetens sken varder mäktigt i all evighet inför andarnas Herre.
