1. In those days the saints and the chosen shall undergo a change. The light of day shall rest upon them; and the splendour and glory of the saints shall be changed.

 1. And in those days there will be a change for the holy and chosen, and the light of the days will dwell over them, and glory and honor will be turned over to the holy.

 1. I dessa dagar skola de heliga och utvalda undergå en förändring. Dagens ljus skall hvila på dem, och de heligas glans och herrlighet skola förändras.

 1. Och i de dagarna skall ett omslag äga rum för de heliga och utvalda. Dagarnas Ljus skall bo öfver dem, och härlighet och ära skola tillfalla dem.

2. In the day of trouble evil shall be heaped up upon sinners; but the righteous shall triumph in the name of the Lord of spirits. Others shall be made to see, that they must repent, and forsake the works of their hands;

1 Thess. 5:3-5

 2. And on the day of trouble, evil will gather over the sinners, but the just will over come through the name of the Lord of the spirits; and he will show it to the others, that they may repent, and cease the work of their hands.

 2. I dessa bekymrets dagar skall det onda hopas på syndarne; men de rättfärdiga skola segra i Andarnes Herres namn. Andra skola göras seende, på det de måtte ångra och afstå från sina händers verk,

 2. Och på nödens dag skall olyckan hopa sig öfver syndarna, men de rättfärdiga skola segra i andarnas Herres namn, och han skall låta de andra se det, att de må ångra sig och lämna sina händers verk.

3. and that glory awaits them not in the presence of the Lord of spirits; yet that by his name they may be saved. The Lord of spirits will have compassion on them; for great is his mercy;

 3. And they will have no honor before the Lord of the spirits, but in his name they will be saved, and the Lord of the spirits will have mercy on them, for his mercy is great.

 3. They shall have no honour through the name of the Lord of Spirits, Yet through His name shall they be saved, And the Lord of Spirits will have compassion on them, For His compassion is great.

 3. och på det herrligheten ej må gå förlorad för dem inför Andarnes Herre, utan de måtte genom Hans namn blifva frälsta. Andarnes Herre skall hafva barmhertighet med dem, ty stor är Hans nåd,

 3. De skola icke hafva någon ära inför andarnas Herre; men i hans namn varda de frälsta, och han skall förbarma sig öfver dem, ty hans barmhärtighet är stor.
4. and righteousness is in his judgment, and in the presence of his glory; nor in his judgment shall iniquity stand. He who repents not before him shall perish.

 4. And he is just in his judgment, and before his glory, and injustice will not stand in his judgment: whosoever will not repent shall be destroyed.

 4. And He is righteous also in His judgement, And in the presence of His glory unrighteousness also shall not maintain itself: At His judgement the unrepentant shall perish before Him.

 4. och rättvisa är i Hans dom och inför Hans herrlighet; ej heller skall orättfärdigheten bestå inför Hans dom. Den som icke ångrar sig inför Honom, han skall förgås.

 4. Och rättvis är han i sin dom, och inför hans härlighet och i hans dom skall intet orätt bestå. Den som icke ångrar sig inför honom, han skall förgås.
5. Henceforward I will not have mercy on them, saith the Lord of spirits.

 5. Henceforth I will not have mercy on them, says the Lord of the spirits.

 5. And from henceforth I will have no mercy on them, saith the Lord of Spirits.

 5. Hädanefter skall jag icke hafva nåd för dem, säger Andarnes Herre.

 5. Från denna stund vill jag icke längre förbarma mig öfver dem, säger andarnas Herre.
