| 4. There I perceived, as it were, a cloud which could not be seen through; for from the depth of it I was unable to look upwards. I beheld also a flame of fire blazing brightly, and, as it were, glittering mountains whirled around, and agitated from side to side.

Der märkte jag likasom ett moln, genom hvilket man icke kunde se; ty från djupet deraf var jag omöjligen i stånd att se uppåt. Jag såg äfven en låga af eld, som flammade klart och, såsom det tycktes, hvirflade glimmande berg omkring och skakades af och an från den ena sidan till den andra.

Och jag såg där någonting liknande ett moln, hvilket man icke kunde urskilja, ty för dess djup kunde jag icke med blicken omfatta det; och eldslågor såg jag brinna klart, och där kretsade föremål omkring, hvilka liknade berg, och rördes fram och tillbaka.
