12. Now then bring gifts of salutation to the rain; that, not being withholden, it may descend upon you; and to the dew, if it has received from you gold and silver.

And now give presents to the rain that it may not be kept back from descending upon you, or the dew when it has received gold or silver from you.

And now give presents to the rain that it be not withheld from descending upon you, nor yet the dew, when it has received gold and silver from you that it may descend.

Bringen nu således helsningar till regnet, att det icke må tillbakahållas, utan nedfalla på eder, och till daggen, om den har emottagit af eder guld och silfver.

Och gifven nu gåfvor åt regnet, att det icke må hindras att nedkomma öfver eder; ej heller daggen, när den mottagit edert silfver och guld.
