5. That they therefore fear, because their whole property is embarked with them on the ocean; and that they forbode evil in their hearts, because it may swallow them up, and they may perish in it?

And therefore they fear, because all their good treasures go into the sea with them, and they are troubled in their hearts that the sea might swallow them and they perish in it.

And therefore do they fear because all their goodly possessions go upon the sea with them, and they have evil forebodings of heart that the sea will swallow them and they will perish therein.

Huru de frukta, emedan hela deras egendom är om bord med dem på hafvet, och huru de förespå sig ondt i sina hjertan, emedan det kan uppsvälja dem och låta dem förgås i sig?

emedan alla deras yppersta ägodelar sjönko ned i hafvet och de frukta i sitt hjärta, att hafvet skall uppsluka dem själfva och de förgås däri.
