1. After these things, surveying the entrances of the north, above the mountains, I perceived seven mountains replete with pure nard, odoriferous trees, cinnamon and papyrus.

And after these odors, as I looked towards the north, over the mountains, I saw seven mountains full of pleasant nard and fragrant trees and cinnamon and pepper.

And after these fragrant odours, as I looked towards the north over the mountains I saw seven mountains full of choice nard and fragrant trees and cinnamon and pepper.

Gg To the north-east I beheld seven mountains full of choice nard and mastic and cinnamon and pepper.

Efter dessa händelser öfversåg jag ingångarne i norr öfver bergen, och blef varse sju berg uppfyllda med ren nardus, välluktande träd, kanel och papyrus.

Och när jag blickade åt norr, bort öfver höjderna, såg jag sju berg, fulla med kostelig nardus och välluktande träd och kanel och peppar.
