| 3. And he said, Tell me what is transacting upon the earth; for the earth labours, and is violently shaken. Surely I shall perish with it.

And he said to him: "Tell me what is it that has been done on the earth, that the earth is so tired out and shaken? May I not be destroyed with it!"

And I said unto him: 'Tell me what it is that is falling out on the earth that the earth is in such evil plight and shaken, lest perchance I shall perish with it? '

Och han sade: säg mig, hvad som är å färde på jorden; ty jorden arbetar och skakas våldsamt. Säkerligen skall jag förgås med den.

Och han sade till honom: Säg mig, hvad försiggår på jorden, eftersom hon är så utmattad och uppskakad? Måtte jag icke gå under med henne!
