| 2. Now then shall the angels labour at the trees; (61) but when they proceed to this, I will put my hand upon it, and preserve it. The seed of life shall arise from it, and a change shall take place, that the dry land shall not be left empty. (61) Shall... labour at the trees. And now the angels are making a wooden building, and when they are gone to that work, I will lift up my hands upon it and will preserve it; and out of it will be [i.e. come] the seed of life, and a change will come so that the earth does not remain empty.

And now the angels are making a wooden (building), and when they have completed that task I will place My hand upon it and preserve it, and there shall come forth from it the seed of life, and a change shall set in so that the earth will not remain without inhabitant.

Nu skola derföre änglarne arbeta på träden; och när de påbörja detta, skall jag lägga min hand på det och beskydda det. Lifvets säd skall uppstiga från det, och en förändring skall äga rum, på det det torra landet icke må lemnas öde.

Och nu göra änglarna en byggnad af trä, och när de utgått till sitt värf*, skall jag lägga min hand därvid och bevara den. Och därur skall en lifvets säd framkomma, och jorden skall undergå förvandling, på det att hon ej må förblifva tom.
