| 2. Then I looked on all which was written, and understood all, reading the book and everything written in it, all the works of man; And of all the children of flesh upon earth, during the generations of the world.

And I contemplated everything on these tablets of heaven, and read everything that was written, and learned everything and read the book and everything that was written in it, all the deeds of men and all the children of flesh who will be on the earth to the generation of eternity.

And I observed the heavenly tablets, and read everything which was written (thereon) and understood everything, and read the book of all the deeds of mankind, and of all the children of flesh that shall be upon the earth to the remotest generations.

Då såg jag på allt, hvad som var skrifvet, och förstod allt, läsande boken, och allt som var skrifvet deri, alla menniskans gerningar. Och alla köttets barns gerningar på jorden, så länge verldens slägten finnas.

Och jag betraktade allting på de himmelska taflorna och läste allt som var skrifvet på dem och lade det på minnet och läste boken och allt som stod i den, om människornas alla gärningar och om alla af kött födda, som skola bo på jorden, ända till de sist lefvande släktena.
