6. Then my grandfather Malalel raised me up, and said to me: Why do you thus cry out, my son? And wherefore thus do you lament?

(92) My voice faltered. Literally, "the word fell down in my mouth" (Laurence, p. 118).

And Malâlêl, my grandfather, aroused me, as I was reposing near him, and said to me: "Why dost thou cry so, my son, and why dost thou lament so?"

And my grandfather Mahalalel waked me as I lay near him, and said unto me: 'Why dost thou cry so, my son, and why dost thou make such lamentation? '

Då uppreste min faderfader Malalel mig och sade til mig: hvarföre ropar du så, min son? och hvarföre jämrar du sig så?

Och min farfar, Mahalaleel, väckte mig, där jag låg bredvid honom, och sade till mig: Hvi ropar du så, min son, och hvi klagar du?
