1. Again I perceived them, when they began to strike and to swallow each other; and the earth cried out.

1. And again I saw them as they began to horn each other, and to devour each other, and the earth began to cry aloud.

2. Then I raised my eyes a second time towards heaven, and saw in a vision, that, behold, there came forth from heaven as it were the likeness of white men. One came forth from thence, and three with him.

 2. And I again raised my eyes to heaven, and saw in the vision, and behold there came from heaven those who were like white men: one came out from that place, and three with him.

 2. Då upplyfte jag mina ögon för andra gången mot himmelen och såg i en syn, och se, det kom ut från himmelen, såsom det hade varit liknelsen af hvita menniskor. En kom fram derifrån, och tre med honom.

3. Those three, who came forth last, seized me by my hand; and raising me up from the generations of the earth, elevated me to a high station. Then they showed me a lofty tower on the earth, while every hill became diminished.

 3. And those three who came out last took me by the hand, and bore me away from the generations of the earth, and elevated me to a large place, and showed me a tower higher than the earth, and all the hills were lower.

 3. And those three that had last come forth grasped me by my hand and took me up, away from the generations of the earth, and raised me up to a lofty place, and showed me a tower raised high above the earth, and all the hills were lower.

 3. Dessa tre, som sist kommo fram, fattade mig vid handen och, uppresande mig från jordens slägten, upphöjde mig på ett högt ställe. Då visade de mig ett ansenligt torn på jorden, medan hvarje kulle blef förminskad.

 3. Och de trenne, som kommit sist, fattade mig vid handen och togo mig upp och bort från jordens släkte och förde mig till ett högt beläget ställe (3) och visade mig ett torn högt öfver jorden, högre än alla berg.
4. And they said, Remain here, until you perceive what shall come upon those elephants, camels, and asses, upon the stars, and upon all the cows.

 4. And they said to me: "Remain here until thou seest everything that comes over those elephants and camels and asses, and over the stars, and over all the bullocks."

 4. And one said unto me: 'Remain here till thou seest everything that befalls those elephants, camels, and asses, and the stars and the oxen, and all of them.'

 4. Och de sade: blif kvar här, tilldess du får se, hvad som skall komma öfver dessa elefanter, kameler och åsnor, öfver stjernorna och öfver alla korna.
