6. But the ship floated above it. All the cows, the elephants, the camels, and the asses, were drowned on the earth, and all cattle. Nor could I perceive them. Neither were they able to get out, but perished, and sunk into the deep.

But that vessel swam on the water, and all the bullocks and elephants and camels and asses on the earth sank down, and all the animals; and I was not able to see them, and they were unable to come out, but were destroyed, and sank down into the abyss.

But that vessel floated on the water, while all the oxen and elephants and camels and asses sank to the bottom with all the animals, so that I could no longer see them, and they were not able to escape, (but) perished and sank into the depths.

Men skeppet flöt deruppå. Alla kor, elefanter, kameler och åsnor blefvo dränkta på jorden, och all boskap. Ej heller kunde jag blifva dem varse. Icke heller voro de i stånd att komma derifrån, utan förgingos och nedsjönko i djupet.
