| 10. And now behold the souls of those who are dead, cry out. And complain even to the gate of heaven. Their groaning ascends; nor can they escape from the unrighteousness which is committed on earth.

And now, behold, the souls which have died cry and lament to the gates of heaven, and their groans ascend, and they are not able to escape from the wickedness which is committed on the earth.

And now, behold, the souls of those who have died are crying and making their suit to the gates of heaven, and their lamentations have ascended: and cannot cease because of the lawless deeds which are wrought on the earth.

Och nu se, de dödas själar ropa. Och beklaga sig vid sjelfva himmelens port. Deras jemmerrop uppstiga, och ej heller kunna de undfly den orättfärdighet, som begås på jorden.

Och nu, se hur de hädangångna själarna ropa och deras klagan når fram till himmelens port, och deras suckan stiger uppåt. Människorna förmå icke undfly den orättfärdighet, som föröfvas på jorden.
