And I saw to the time when thirty-six shepherds thus pastured, and each one completed his time like the first; and others received them in their hands to pasture them in their time, each shepherd in his own time.

And I saw till that in this manner thirty-five shepherds undertook the pasturing (of the sheep), and they severally completed their periods as did the first; and others received them into their hands, to pasture them for their period, each shepherd in his own period.

Och jag såg imedlertid, att trettiosju *) herdar sålunda hade öfverinseendet, hvilka alla slutade hvardera vid sin tidpunkt likasom de första. Andra emottog dem sedan i sina händer, för att hafva inseende öfver dem, hvar och en under sin tid, hvarje herde på sin egen tid. *) Ett uppenbart misstag, i stället för 34. Se 7 v.
