| 3. Erudition therefore and wisdom are not theirs. Thus shall they perish, together with their riches, with all their glory, and with their honours; While with disgrace, with slaughter, and in extreme penury, shall their spirits be thrust into a furnace of fire.

And therefore they will have no knowledge and no wisdom, and thereby they are destroyed together with their treasures, and with all their glory and their honor, and in shame and in murder and in great poverty their spirits will be cast into an oven of fire.

Therefore they shall be wanting in doctrine and wisdom, And they shall perish thereby together with their possessions; And with all their glory and their splendour, And in shame and in slaughter and in great destitution, Their spirits shall be cast into the furnace of fire.

Lärdom och vishet äro således icke deras. Sålunda skola de förgås tillika med deras rikedom, med all deras herrlighet och deras ära. Medan deras andar skola med onåd, med mördande och yttersta armod kastas i en brinnande ugn.

Fördenskull fattas dem insikt och vishet, och därför skola de omkomma jämte sina skatter och all sin härlighet och ära, och i skam och förgöring och stort armod skall deras ande kastas i den brinnande ugnen.
