1. And said: Enoch, why do you inquire respecting the odour of this tree? Why are you inquisitive to know it?

 1. And he said to me: "Enoch, what dost thou ask me concerning, the fragrance of this tree and dost seek to know?"

 1. And he said unto me: 'Enoch, why dost thou ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree, and why dost thou wish to learn the truth?'

 1. Och sade: Enoch, hvarföre frågar du rörande lukten af detta träd? Hvarföre forskar du att veta det?

 1. Och han sade till mig: Henoch, hvad önskar du få veta om detta träds doft?
2. Then I, Enoch, replied to him, and said, Concerning everything I am desirous of instruction, but particularly concerning this tree.

 2. Then I, Enoch, answered him, saying: "Concerning all things I desire to know, but especially concerning this tree."

 2. Then I answered him saying: 'I wish to know about everything, but especially about this tree.'

 2. Då svarade jag, Enoch, honom och sade: Rörande hvarje ting önskar jag att blifva undervisad, men i synnerhet rörande detta träd.

 2. Då svarade jag, Henoch, honom och sade: Om allting skulle jag vilja veta något, men i synnerhet om detta träd.
3. He answered me, saying, That mountain which you behold, the extent of whose head resembles the seat of the Lord, will be the seat on which shall sit the holy and great Lord of glory, the everlasting King, when he shall come and descend to visit the earth with goodness.

 3. And he answered me, saying: "This high mountain which thou hast seen, whose summit is like the throne of God, is the throne where the holy and great God of glory, the Eternal King, will sit when he shall descend to visit the earth with goodness,

 3. And he answered saying: 'This high mountain which thou hast seen, whose summit is like the throne of God, is His throne, where the Holy Great One, the Lord of Glory, the Eternal King, will sit, when He shall come down to visit the earth with goodness.

 3. Han svarade mig sägande: det berg, som du ser, hvars utsträckta spets liknar Herrens säte, skall blifva det säte, hvarpå den helige och store herrlighetens Herre, den evigt varande Konungen skall sitta, då Han skall komma och nedstiga, för att besöka jorden med godhet.

 3. Och han svarade mig och sade: Det höga berg, som du sett och hvars topp liknar Herrens tron, är också hans tron, där den Helige och Store, härlighetens Herre, den evige Konungen, skall sitta, när han stiger ned för att bringa jorden det godt är.
4. And that tree of an agreeable smell, not one of carnal odor, there shall be no power to touch, until the period of the great judgment. When all shall be punished and consumed for ever, this shall be bestowed on the righteous and humble.

 4. And this tree of beautiful fragrance cannot be touched by any flesh until the time of the great judgment; when all things will be atoned for and consummated for eternity, this will be given to the just and humble.

 4. And as for this fragrant tree no mortal is permitted to touch it till the great judgement, when He shall take vengeance on all and bring (everything) to its consummation for ever. It shall then be given to the righteous and holy.

 4. Och detta träd med en angenäm lukt skall icke en enda med köttslig lukt äga makt att röra, intill stunden för den stora domen. Då alla skola straffas och förgöras för evigt, skall detta tillhöra den rättfärdige och ödmjuke.

 4. Och detta träd med den ljufliga lukten är det icke någon enda dödlig tillåtet att vidröra förrän på den stora domens tid. När allt varder vedergälldt och fullbordadt för evigheten, skall det trädet öfverantvardas åt de rättfärdiga och ödmjuka.
5. The fruit of the tree shall be given to the elect. For towards the north life shall be planted in the holy place, towards the habitation of the everlasting King.

 5. From its fruits life will be given to the chosen; it will be planted towards the north, in a holy place, towards the house of the Lord, the Eternal King.

 5. Its fruit shall be for food to the elect: it shall be transplanted to the holy place, to the temple of the Lord, the Eternal King.

 5. Frukten af detta träd skall gifvas åt de utvalda. Ty norr ut skall lifvet planteras på det heliga stället emot den evigtvarande Konungens boning.

 5. Och af dess frukt skall lif beskäras åt de utvalda. Och i norr skall det omplanteras, på den heliga orten, och blifva Herrens, den evige Konungens, tempel.
6. Then shall they greatly rejoice and exult in the Holy One. The sweet odor shall enter into their bones; and they shall live a long life on the earth as your forefathers have lived; neither in their days shall sorrow, distress, trouble, and punishment afflict them.

Isa. 65:20-22.

 6. Then they will rejoice greatly, and be glad in the Holy One; they will let its fragrance enter their members, and live a long life upon the earth, as thy fathers lived; and in their days no sorrow or sickness or trouble or affliction will touch them."

Isa. 65:20-22.

 6. Then shall they rejoice with joy and be glad, And into the holy place shall they enter; And its fragrance shall be in their bones, And they shall live a long life on earth, Such as thy fathers lived: And in their days shall no sorrow or plague Or torment or calamity touch them.'

Isa. 65:20-22.

 6. Då skola de högeligen glädja sig och fröjdas i den Ende Helige. Den söta lukten skall intränga i deras ben, och de skola lefva ett långt lif på jorden, såsom deras förfäder hafva lefvat. Ej heller skola i deras dagar sorg, bekymmer, oro och straff förfölja dem.

Jes. 65:20-22.

 6. Då skola de fröjda sig och jubla i den Helige. De skola låta dess doft intränga i sina ben och leva ett långt lif på jorden, såsom dina fäder lefvat, och i deras dagar skola ingen sorg och intet lidande, ingen möda och ingen plåga komma vid dem.

7. And I blessed the Lord of glory, the everlasting King, because He has prepared this tree for the saints, formed it, and declared that He would give it to them.

 7. Then I blessed the Lord of glory, the Eternal King, because he had prepared such for the just men, and had created such, and said he would give it to them.

 7. Then blessed I the God of Glory, the Eternal King, who hath prepared such things for the righteous, and hath created them and promised to give to them.

 7. Och jag välsignade herrlighetens herre, den evigt varande Konungen, för det Han tillredt detta träd för de heliga, skapat det och förklarat, att han skulle gifva det åt dem.

 7. Då prisade jag härlighetens Herre, den evige Konungen, därför att han beredt detta åt de rättfärdiga människorna och skapat det och lofvat att gifva dem det.
