The Dead Giants, Their Nephilim Spirits, and Modern Day Spirits

There is one thing that has often bugged me when thinking of the Nephilim spirits, who came from the dead giants. How come, when we hear about or confront evil spirits today, and sometimes see them, that they are not gigantic in their form? They should be, if they come from those pre-flood giants. But most often, they are described as quite small, and often as hybrid animals, or as "anganimals".

So, how can this be? I have a theory, and it is that most of the preflood nephilim are, by prophets or Christians, bound, or sent to hades. The ones that we encounter today are postflood nephilim, raphaeans, or chimera spirits of dead postflood monsters. That is the reason they are quite small, because when they lived in the flesh, they were not as huge as preflood giants or monsters, because God had changed the condition of the world, so that postflood giants and anganimals could not be that big as before the Flood. They were still huge, but as time went by, the most fearsome and confrontational of them, met prophets or early Christians, that bound them to stones, or bottom of lakes, or sent them to Hades or the Abyss, and therefore only relatively harmless (I said relatively) spirits of these beings, remain today.

I am not for one second diminishing the harm today's evil spirits do and can do, but I think the evil spirits of the ancient postflood world, as for example during the bronze and iron age, were worser. Today's world, even if it is very evil and fallen, is for the most part a better place to live in, than during those ages. Would it have been, if the gigantic Nephilim spirits of the preflood giants and monsters, still were here, on the surface of the earth? I don't think so. I think the prophets of Israel, and perhaps other prophets of God too, and early Christianity did away with the worst evil spirits, and that is why we today have , still, freedom of speech, elections, freedom to gather to worship Jesus, and so on. We complain a lot of the state of society today, but people of the ancient world, if they could have visited us, would have marvelled over the freedoms, and the presence of Christianity, in almost every city of huge parts of the world. It meant something that there once stood a temple of God in Israel, and that Jesus were here, himself, and than the disciples after him, going out in the world, and confronted and bound and defeated those ancient Nephilim spirits of both the preflood and early postflood world. There was a change, a huge change, in the unseen, that also manifested in the seen.

This does of course not mean that the millennial reign of Christ has come, but the difference between the bronze age, or iron age, or the days of Jesus first arrival, and today should be obvious.

And of course, there are still confrontations to come, before the mission of the people of God is fullfilled. Perhaps it is one of those we see the beginning of these days. That would mean that besides from just preaching the gospel, it is the duty and mission and authorized agenda of Christians today, to bind those ancient spirits of the Nephilim, that still are here, and do away with them, once and for all. There should be proclamations made, in every city, that Christ is Lord and king, and that every place we set our foot, is ours, and a shout to the spirits in the heavenlies and the surface of the earth, that their presence is unlawful, and that in the name of Jesus, they have to leave and be bound and never come back. We should perhaps learn of how early Christianity fought against those powers, in their days.

So, what if it is possible to not only drive out evil and harmful spirits, out of people and places, but also to bind them to the day of Judgment, and so diminish their ranks?

After writing this, I did a little research on the net, and found that a similar idea - or was it real? - is written about in the Book of Jubilees.

If true, it turns out that Noah already took care of this, and as an answer to his prayer, God and his angels diminished the ranks of evil spirits to one tenth of their original number. It also seems, from Jubilees, that those bound by Noah's prayer and the deeds of God's angels, were the most malignant ones - just as I predicted above. I didn't know about this text in Jubilees when I wrote that, I had only heard about it slightly, but never given it any thought. It certainly wasn't in my mind when thinking about this.

Now let's suppose this account is true, that somehow this really happened, and that it became written down later - does this mean that it is not possible to send nephilim spirits to their "place of condemnation", today? Not neccessarily. If the ranks of these spirits would have increased again, over their allowed number in the world - wouldn't that allow for the people and prophets of God, to do again as Noah did, or to bind the spirits themselves? I think it would. But the mathematics of this perhaps get more complicated, as the world population grows. Is it enough to fulfill the accuser's allowed duty, to only have one tenth of the original number, when the population of the world doubles many times? Or is he permitted to increase his number, accordingly?
And how would he do that, except, if so, through new angelic incursions, after the flood, and even into latter times.

If this was not so, the enemy's ranks of evil spirits would be totally outnumbered, today.

So it turns out, that the Book of Jubilees gives credence to the concept of a second angelic incursion, and to even more incursions, throughout the ages, whenever the need arises, to fill out the numbers.

Likewise, the possibility to send the "overflow" to Hades, also is there. Perhaps this is the answer why binding of this kind is seldom spoken of in N.T. times, because the numbers were even then, in that part of the world, while when Christianity came to the northern parts of Europe, for example, those kind of prayers and deeds, seems to have been neccessary again, because here there were still an overflow of nephilim spirits.

So, again, is it possible to not only drive out evil and harmful spirits, but to also send them to their place of condemnation? It seems so, down to their limited, allowed number, in the world. This then would mean, that we have the same possibility, as Noah had, to decrease their ranks, to that end that they can no longer harm righteous people, just as Noah's sons and their sons, achieved peace and a state of victory, after the angels had on God's commandment fulfilled Noah's prayer
