Jewish and Christian Feast Days

There have been many attacks against the "christian feast days" recent years, mostly by christians who instead want to embrace the jewish, or as they say, God's feast days. This thinking is, I believe, not well enough aquainted with christian history. They say, for instance about christmas, that it was originally a feast day to a roman god, that the roman church changed into the birthday feast for Jesus.

Well, why do you think they did that? Or, ask yourself instead: What do you think would have happened if they hadn't done that? The heathen feasts would have continued, of course. I'm not endorsing catholicism, in any way. I know what it is and what it brings. I look at what they did as a kind of excorcism, without them personally being born again. They used the christian symbols and names, to defeat the darker powers. Sometimes these powers stayed on, just taking on another, that is, christian cover, and continued being worshipped. Sometimes they really had to withdraw, and a new cult was introduced, where at least those who were serious, could revere and adore Jesus, on those days. By this, Christ put his foot on the head of the serpent, by taking the heathen days and making them into christian feast days. Again, what would have happened else? Do you think there is a neutral gap? Take away christmas, and it will just leave an empty hole? No, those dark powers that were worshipped earlier will immediately retake those days, and awake anew. (Take away the binding, and they will rise. See f.ex Rev. 9.) There is no neutral ground, it is either light or darkness, either we tread on the serpent's head, or he will rise and tread on us.

Likewise, there is talk about the equinoxes and solstices, as if they were invented by the occultists. No, they have not invented those days, God did. The occultists have stolen those days, and we should take them back! There is nothing wrong in celebrating the longest and shortest days of the year, and the two days that are equal to the night. They are fascinating reminders of the glory of God, the Creator of the heavenlies.

Why should christians always be on the run? Come on, we are to dominate, we are to step on the serpent's head (not by war) but by the power of Jesus, by the bold proclamation of his might and victory over death and all the enemy's workings.
